Witton's Youth team return to league action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Warrington-based Grappenhall Sports in a North West Youth Alliance Division One fixture. The youngsters have begun the season well and currently sit fourth in the Division One table after two successive league wins where they scored eight goals, hat tricks in both games coming from Tom Collins & Cameron Brookfield respectively. The team bowed out of the FA Youth Cup at the Preliminary Round stage against Sandbach United in midweek but can now focus on closing the gap on the leaders. Grappenhall Sports have only played two league games so far this season and still seek their first points so, Witton will go into the game in confident mood but at the same time not underestimating their opponents. The game is being played at Grappenhall Sports Club with a 2.30pm kick off.
