Witton face a tough few days starting with the long trip to leaders South Shields on Saturday afternoon, followed by a visit to Play Off - chasing Basford United forty eight hours later. The Mariners have started to put another consistent run together in recent weeks, winning each of their last four games and are unbeaten since Boxing Day. Witton go to the North-East buoyed by the fact that they managed to put a sequence of bad results behind them with victory over Atherton Collieries last weekend. The game might not have been enthralling to watch but, it was vital that Albion stemmed the bad run and so that's how it turned out. The game gives Witton the chance to complete the double over the leaders, following an excellent performance and 3-1 win at Wincham Park earlier in the season but away from home have only managed one win so far with the majority of the games finishing all square. With players now returning to fitness and a stronger squad in place, together with the extension of Danny Mitchley's loan spell will give the management team another option. Witton will be looking to put in a strong performance and hopefully pick up the right result but it will be a tough test for them. Games of this magnitude tend to bring the best out of the team and that's what maybe required this time. Kick off at Mariners Park is 3pm.

I hope you are right, a point would be great and yes we are capable of that, I guess the team will start the same as the last one it's hard working and defensive ideal for a tough away game. Good luck to the lads UTA
