Defender & local resident Luke Offord, who enjoyed a loan spell at Wincham Park has signed a new three-year contract with League One Crewe Alexandra.

A mate of mine here in Abu Dhabi used to have a season ticket at Anfield but it got too expensive so he started watching Marine instead. He obviously wasn't there last night but some of his mates were and they sent him this photo of events after their FA Cup Round 2 success - the Goalie walked home in his kit! Good luck to them - hope they get the big Merseyside club in the 3rd round! Or Liverpool.

Midfielder Regan Griffiths who had a brief loan spell at Wincham Park is in the Crewe Alexandra starting line-up for their EFL Trophy game at Hull City tonight. Owen Dale is amongst the substitutes but defender Luke Offord is not involved.
