The two clubs purporting to be "Vics" have no direct relationship with either the club formed in 1874 or the one formed in 1890. They are both new clubs, one formed in 2012 and the other so many times I have lost count. The "Witton Albion" of today is exactly the same one that was formed in 1890. Now do you understand?

Sorry Massive, it's what happens when we are in close season, we get bored and reminisce. As for him not reading my articles, why would I want the opinion of a "Green" fan? He obviously has no taste! Now back to the important matter of signings. I think our little left back is going to be a real favourite, full of effort, tenacity and speed, what's not to like?

Never said I have done a lot for Witton, certainly no more than the average supporter. As for turning a positive into a negative that will always happen when Green fans come on here, use your own forum.

Brilliant news Brad Bauress has signed, he has been brilliant and by far best player on the pitch last Saturday

Yes, I can only echo Jeff''s praises over Phil's 'Player Profiles' another excellent piece from our statistician, plenty of scousers in our ranks and a couple of Midlands lads as well, hope there not a couple of 'Dingles' !! :clap

The young lad McKenna isn't listed on the website as a squad member. Is he still with us?

Surely we can't be going down the loan route already!?

I wouldn't be unduly worried so soon by this move. Carl and Gary have put together a squad that they feel are capable of challenging and Pre Season suggests that the players brought in have improved us in most areas. This loan doesn't appear to be the "normal" loan signing as the player has been involved in Pre Season with us so the management have had a chance to look at him and they've obviously seen something that impressed them.

Witton have signed former Liverpool Academy midfielder Wade Maxwell. He is available for selection for tonight's game. He had been at Championship club Barnsley prior to joining Witton.
