Many congratulations to Neil Gill and his Reserve team for winning at Greenalls 5-2 this afternoon to make the Final of the Presidents Cup. They will play 2nd Division Warrington Town Reserves who beat Division One leaders Pilkington 4-3.

So it wasn't all bad news for the Albion this afternoon what with the Under 14's girls winning their Cheshire Cup Final 5-1 against Port Vale.

The Reserves have a load of matches still to play and are down at Moss Farm on Monday against Stalybridge Celtic and on Wednesday against Pilkington. Matches kick-off at 6:30pm.

Then on Saturday they go up t'hill to play Barnton whom they are level on points with but have 4 games in hand on the Jam Towners

Let's stop pussy-footing around and get it out there.

There are rumours that the reserve side is to be re-launched as Northwich United next season - i'll just repeat that first bit; NORTHWICH - to show affiliation to the 'town'.

Any official comment?

Say it ain't so!

I've got to admit that I have heard this rumour and if it is true as I suspect, it is an absolute disgrace and a sure sign of the way that our club is going at the moment.
