Don't know if I'm too late for book title suggestions, but how about Bookie Mc Bookface or failing that- Witton Albion- Only One Team in Northwich.

When I joined the board in the 1991-92 season, Ian Dobson was Chairman, and Tom was President. In the middle of the season, Derek Shirley (who was the Social Club Director) took over from Ian.

I like, but "NO"!!

I have been retired for 8 years now and I can confirm two things; You cannot work out how you found time to go to work and it is wonderful to be TOTALLY in charge of your life, with the wife's permission of course. Read me in the Our Town magazine.

When did Tom die? I don't need loads of info on background stuff as my version of the history is very much concentrated on the playing side but bits of info on the move and other such stories might be useful.

I am trying to compile a list of board members over the years, got one hell of a lot thanks to George Haspell and Paul Lavell but modern ones are harder to find. I am also including the names of Sammy Stanley, Queenie Price etc and other people who may have done a lot of unsung work for the Albs over the years. I recognise I am going to leave some people out but it won't be for the want of trying! Any suggestions will be gratefully received. (Nigel's second name for one!!)
