Bit late to raise this i know, but is there any possibility of opening the awards night up to other fans later in the evening who do not want to take up the food option?

Been an awful season, so to expect people to pay £10 to celebrate it seems a bit backwards.

Usually its a free entry event (and thats when we've had good seasons too), but would be nice to pop along later on and say goodbyes to a few people.

Not sure if anyone is planning on going along? Maybe free admission later in the night would at least swell the bar coffers?

I have to say I completely agree with Robbo on this one. I know a few wittoners aren’t coming tonight due to the fact it’s £10 to get in. I’m pretty sure the season we got promoted and were in the playoffs this event was free, if not a fiver maximum.

If the price sticks at £10, I think it could be a pretty embarrassing night with mainly, if not only, the players and management in the room….

Ive spoke to a few Wittoners today and everyones saying the same thing about having to pay £10 to get in, its always been free and when Trev and Percy hosted it 2 years ago they spent a lot of money buying props and medals yet it was still free!

Yet another blunder in a season full of them

There will be one person putting in an appearance as Sully is coming to say goodbye to everyone.

Well, it wont be 'everyone' will it as the people he most-probably would like to say goodbye to have been priced out of attending the event...
