Last year's Witton Albion In The Community charity 90s Night was a huge success, raising £700 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, whilst also putting a hefty amount of money into the club coffers through bar takings.

The event returns on Saturday 31st October, this year promising to be biger and better than last year, with last orders being extended to 2am.

The event will again be looking to raise money for charity, this year choosing St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice in memory of some of our much-missed supporters who have lost their fight against cancer over recent seasons.

We will also be using the evening to raise some funds for the Witton Albion Netball Team, who continue to grow and develop as an entity, engaging local women and creating lasting friendships through sport.

Advanced tickets are available through donation, or entry can be obtained on the night for a donation of £5.

There will also be a raffle on the night.

Looking forward to this, missed out last year but from all reports was a very popular evening! Lets get some numbers down there and support this best we can. UTA

Yep, we have now sold almost twice as many advance tickets as we did last year.

With a 2am bar, hopefully the football club will make a decent amount of money in alcohol sales!

Amongst the many raffle prizes on the night, we have baordroom hospitality for 2 at a Witton League game.

The main auction prize is a signed Manchester United ball (with certificate of authenticity). Feel free to make an advance offer!

I'll take four tickets off your hands on Saturday Robbo if you're at the game?

Thanks to everyone who supported the event last night.

We're still counting the money up, so don't have final figures for amounts raised for the netball team and St Lukes, but i will share them when we do.

We counted 162 people through the door - which is a brilliant show of support for what we hope will continue to be an annual event.

Thanks to Noel and his bar staff (Matt looked very smart!).
