That bench looks better than the one at Man City!!
I have been retired for 8 years now and I can confirm two things; You cannot work out how you found time to go to work and it is wonderful to be TOTALLY in charge of your life, with the wife's permission of course. Read me in the Our Town magazine.
First off, can I add my welcome home greetings to the mighty Titch. To get him back has been a fantasy for many of us for so long, and I'm so pleased it has happened now. It looks like the young man has put on a bit of muscle around the shoulders, which should help in the physical battle against the sort of 6ft 4 meatheads you get at centre back nowadays. The thought of his pace and ability added to Dave Walker's guile and vision fills me with hope.
If any kind Wittoner has reached into their wallet to facilitate this, then I'm sure we are all very grateful.
As to the Skem game, I would never blame Pritch for resting players before an important league game, and we saw the result against a quick, skillful team ( that reminded me of us in the glory season...). Without Powell, Danny and Josh we lacked creativity and penetration, and yet again, missed a couple of golden chances. Some of our players have to look to their laurels or I feel they will have to move on in the wake of recent additions. Against the wind I thought we did ok, but Titch had little chance to shine, apart from one great pass with his head - that must be a first!
Good luck to all who travel over the edge of the planet on Saturday !
