A fantastic season culminating in one of those memories that will live with each and every wittoner forever. A very nervy affair yesterday ending in a victory that nobody could deny the club so richly deserved. Massive thanks to all the players and management for a wonderful season. Let's hope those 650+ wittoners return next season to cheer this remarkable team on.

Good luck to the lads tomorrow and achieve what you rightly deserve UTA

Good luck to the lads tonight. If anybody deserves success it's these guys, just go out and do what you have been doing all season and you will be fine. A team to be very proud of whatever the outcome UTA

You could have asked anyone in the ground during the course of the last few weeks and they would have been able to tell you or get you a form. It is not that difficult. As I said in my earlier comment on this subject take some personal accountability and common sense. Also I do not drink and I go into the club regularly for a diet coke and to see the fans, players, management, directors etc and to ask questions face to face rather than post crap on here. Witton have a lot of elderly supporters who never go in the club. I don't think it too onerous to ask that slips be available as you enter the ground or even inside the programmes. There could even be a box sited on the table where the programmes are sold or even on the tea hut counter for people to post their votes. It really isn't a big ask IMO. Either way it isn't worthy of an argument UTA

I just hope that whatever happens we keep this fantastic set of players together, cos i can see them maturing into an even better team. UTA Unfortunately that's unlikely to happen. The more talented of the players will be snapped up by other clubs, there has been lots of interest in the past weeks with scouts being spotted in the standsA positive post would be good.....we need to gain promotion first before we start talking about whose staying/leaving. Carl is a good manager who brings in good players, why worry?

Fantastic news and richly deserved. Whatever the outcome of the playoffs Witton Albion have been a joy to watch and long may it continue. Keep up the good work Carl and Gary. UTA

I do think you and train bus boy have a hidden agenda here! I suppose your experience at a great level would have us in a much better position? Off on one again are we? Just can't give it a rest can you? come on then Einstein what's the hidden agenda? Only agenda I have is for the team to get promoted and for the manager to play his best team consistently in order for us to do that. He's *****d that up good and proper now with his ridiculous choice of keeper. Don't know how Danny feels to be sidelined after he's given us his all this season but I, along with every other fan I've spoken to (apart from the numpty on here) is gutted. I wish him all the best wherever he goes because he isn't going to stick around on the bench for us! In the meantime I'm not fancying the play offs and as another poster said the league was lost for us during the home games v Rugby and Spalding, the blame clearly lies with the manager. Enjoy another season in the First Division South say whatWhat a ridiculously pessimistic post that is. Carl will have good reason for not playing Danny who incidentally is sorely missed for his height and dominance in the area. I do not believe that we would have lost the games against Rugby, Spaulding and Shaw Lane with Danny in goal. Anyway, it is what it is and we need to get over it and fast. To say that we have lost the league on the back of defeats to Rugby and Spaulding is ridiculous. If it wasn't for the cash rich Shaw Lane we would have been home and dry by now. We have had a remarkable season and to get within 3 points of Shaw Lane is in itself an achievement. We are the best footballing side by a mile and hopefully with the backing of our fantastic fans we will get over the line UTA.
