The club also plan to hold collections at both of the remaining home fixtures against Farsley Celtic & Lancaster City to help Nick through his recovery.

There will also be an auction at The Player of the Year Awards evening following the final league game of the season against Lancaster City, with the proceeds also going to Nick.

Excellent to read on the 1874 website that, led by Toddy Barlow, they are making a collection at their game on Monday for Nick Ryan.

I think this is very commendable.

Wishing Nick all the best in his recovery and hope to see him playing in a Witton shirt again.
A great gesture from toddy at 1874, shows the rivalry may be fierce, but football has great benevolence.
