Witton's Reserve Team are in action on Saturday afternoon when they make the short trip to neighbours Winnington Avenue, in a Crewe & District Football League Premier Division fixture. Witton go into the game against the league's bottom club in confident mood after last weekend's ten-goal demolition of Mary Dendy. Avenue have yet to get their campaign going and still search for their first point after five straight defeats so far. Despite their poor start, the home side will be no pushover for Witton as they try to close the gap on the teams above them. A difficult game can be expected as the basement club look to impose themselves on the game and hopefully lift their spirits. The fixture at Jubilee Field kicks off at 2pm.
