WAJFC PLAYER SUCCESS IN FA DISABILITY TALENT DAY
(Howard Crompton 27/04/2018)
CONGRATULATIONS to Mason Bogue!
Brilliant news from the FA, for Mason and his family.
Mason, who plays for Witton Albion Warriors U11s, has this week been invited to attend one of the FA’s Future Talent Hubs.
Mason successfully qualified after attending an England Disability Talent day, which was held at the
Cheshire FA headquarters last weekend.
Mason, who has been deaf since birth, first joined Witton Albion Juniors at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, when he was starting u9’s. Mason enjoys his position as goalkeeper for the Warriors.
His coach, mum Nicola, wears an FM device in order to communicate with Mason from the touchline. Since starting to use the FM in 2016, Mason has gained a lot more confidence and enthusiasm, which is plain to see when watching him perform.
We wish Mason the very best of luck as he enters next season and when he attends one of the FA Future Talent Hub for the first time. We hope he will give the best that he can, so that he continue to progress. There is every chance that one day we may see him playing for the England Deaf Football Team or maybe representing the Great Britain Olympic team.
