WHEELS created the topic: FREE TRANSPORT
The club will be running free coach transport to the ground from Northwich Bus Station, picking up at the Witton Chimes pub. A shuttle service will operate every 15 minutes from 1.30pm until kick-off, with return trips from 5.15pm and 6.15pm, also every 15 minutes.

This service will run during August & September on Saturdays only.

What a BRILLIANT idea.
WHS.

I have been retired for 8 years now and I can confirm two things; You cannot work out how you found time to go to work and it is wonderful to be TOTALLY in charge of your life, with the wife's permission of course. Read me in the Our Town magazine.

Glad you like it - hopefully it will attract both ends of the age groups. Older people who won't/can't drive anymore, using their bus pass, and then taken to WP, and of course the youngsters who couldn't get to the ground otherwise. This is for a trial period (August/September), and will continue or extend if successful. Please note, the collection will be OPPOSITE the Bus Terminus, as you need a licence to pick up at the terminus itself. There are more ideas which will be put on here in the next couple of days.

Obviously the transport is not restricted to any age group. People who are in town, or fancy a pint in the pub before the match etc are always welcome to the transport. It will be a bit "hit and miss" at first on the supply/demand front, but hopefully when word gets around, it will all sort out. Please tell your friends and neighbours, but we will be letting all know by way of a leaflet drop next week. Thanks
