Well dissapointing to say the least, what did we learn well if River is fit he needs to play, the centre of defence was awol for the first 2 goals I am sure if He was playing this would have been sorted !
playing without wingers is pretty dour stuff to watch week in week out !
And as ever all season we have needed a striker to partner Rob with pace and movement to complement Robs undoubted ability, and hopefully He can score a few goals as well. As soon as we went 2-0 down the game was gone I believe No one in the crowd thought we would score 3 goals sadly.

The game should have been out of reach after 25 mins with the chances missed or saved, I'm not sure River would have prevented those goals as crosses came in from the left & not cut out by midfield & runners on the back post again not picked up by midfield.

The lack of goals and any type of width is killing us yet we still bring in defenders! We have Wilson and River in the bench, use em or loose them. Did we really need another right back at the start of the season? Some decisions coming home to roost. I hope we get some pace/Width soon.

The striker Wolfenden scored both opeing goals so Centre backs should have picked him up unless Im mistaken ?

If he was playing directly up front yes centre halves should have picked him up but he was playing deep & making runs so should be tracked by midfield.

Even if he came from deep both centre halfs should be aware of people free on the edge of the six yard box and react accordingly.
Being free on the six yard box which results in two goals is poor to say the least.

It's a never ending debate, both centre halves were marking Sharp & Bakkor. You say potato I say potatoe either way we had enough chances first 30 mins to win 2 games.

Our problem is a lack of firepower and unless we add pace and goals to our attack we will struggle to survive this season. We will not attract supporters if we continue as we are. 13 goals in 13 games simply isn't good enough UTA
