A great result after the defeat last week.

I have been retired for 8 years now and I can confirm two things; You cannot work out how you found time to go to work and it is wonderful to be TOTALLY in charge of your life, with the wife's permission of course. Read me in the Our Town magazine.

Seems as though we had chances to win it, especially in the second half but found their keeper in inspired form. A good point though, we would've accepted that before the game.

I think this kind of result confirms our right to be in this league though a play off place might be hard to get, still, you never know.

From the Stourbridge website.

The Glassboys had keeper Matt Gould to thank after a disappointing performance.

Gould made a number of impressive saves to ensure Stour kept their third clean sheet in a row.

Boss Gary Hackett said: "I'll hold my hands up, I didn't get it right tactically. I make mistakes as a manager and I looked at myself today. I did find it hard to get that balance right.

"Let's be honest, we were very poor. Very poor in possession, very poor out of possession and the only saving grace is that when you play as poorly as we did today you make sure you don't lose the game. That's three clean sheets on the bounce and the back four and Gouldy deserve a lot of praise.

"Matt was outstanding. We know he's a good goalkeeper but it's not just his shot stopping, it's his taking of crosses too. Everything about his game was good."

The returning Luke Benbow started up front alongside Kyle Perry while Aaron Forde slotted in wide on the right with Kennedy Digie and Leon Broadhurst in the middle of the park.

Witton striker Will Jones had the ball in the net in the seventh minute but was rightly ruled offside before Darryl Westlake did well to block Prince Haywood's shot.

Stour's best chance of the match came in the 11th minute but Leon Broadhurst's shot from close range was blocked following good work down the left by Luke Shearer.

Digie glanced a Forde corner wide and Gould was on hand to deny Owen Dale's strong effort just after the half hour mark.

Josh Green and Aaron Birch came on for the injured Westlake and Digie at the break but Witton were on top for most of the second period.

Defender Nick Ryan thought he had put the visitors ahead in the 50th minute only for Gould to tip his back post header wide.

Steven Tames then found a yard of space in the Stour penalty area but his low shot was brilliantly kept out by Gould.

Albion's Paul Williams went close with a left-footed free-kick and Gould again did well to save James Foley's close-range effort.

Dale had the final chance for Witton but after cutting in from the left, he fired his shot over the bar.

Stourbridge: Gould, Christophorou, Westlake (Green 46), McCone, Pierpoint, Forde, Digie (Birch 46), Broadhurst, Perry (Cooke 69), Benbow, Shearer. Subs not used: Cameron, Collingridge.

Attendance: 737
