Well done Witton, as I said on saturday I wasn't expecting to get anything from this game but happy to be proven wrong.Hardly get to any night matches, so watched twitter feeds from comfort of my own home, second half felt very uncomfortable. Thought that due to the importance of the game that we may have finished with ten or less on the pitch, so good that we had no sendings off. Should be there at Loughborough on saturday. Anyone know if it's a real grass pitch or other?.veryangry

A good team effort and great result . My mate came to watch the game and he really enjoyed it proper football A good pint after the game too . Just a mention about the match program always a great read and a really interesting page about the great Frank Filder little wonder why people of my dads generation use to rave about him uta

I just have to post again to say how well we played and what a great result it was last night. Shaw Lane are very good and you can see clearly how they have been winning for fun BUT we matched them, rode our luck, had some good fortune, battled for the win and deserved it! It really was a brilliant game to be at and well done to all, from both teams! WITTONS COMING TO GET YA!!

Before the game, I felt that we were capable of getting something from it and possibly even winning it. I never expected the game to turn out the way it did particularly the first half. To get anywhere near challenging Shaw Lane it was certainly a game that we couldn't afford to lose and we didn't.
