Yes a very enjoyable afternoon at a very nice club. Agree about the steak pies also.

Full credit to the lads and management for going there and doing the business. Should have scored more but will happily take 4-0 !
Nice to see clampitt make a return, a player I rate highly.

We need to keep this winning run going now, keep the pressure on and wait for fylde and Curzon to slip up.

Keep it up lads

My wife's pie was cold in the middle,so she took it back and had it replaced. Just thought it was worth pointing out that the pie love was not unanimous! They were very apologetic though

Cracking result glad to hear clampitt back in the mix, a good partner for Sheehan cannot fault ollie james though at the moment thats what you need competition and cover ?

Agreed competition and cover are essential and so is getting the balance correct. We seem to have this at present and its working well. In truth Osssett were not Real Madrid by a long chalk. Apart from about 20 mins in the first half we dominated the game and in the end won at a canter, but remember I think that they recently beat Skem so it might show how good our away form is. Plus we also missed a penalty and had numerous other attempts flaunted. Well done to all. SBL

Marvellous afternonn out at a a very friendly club. I think one of their fans who was walking alongside us back to the car after the game summed it up for me.
He said "We were lucky to get away with 4 nil it should have been ten or more easily, definitely the best side thats been here this season, you've stuffed us twice at home now!!"
So there you go. Thought it great to see Clampo come back into it we've missed him and I think we would have beaten Droylesden in the cup had Carl been playing as he's a big match player who calms us down. Its great to have competition for places though and Ollie and Tom Schofield are also excellent in midfield for us. The highlight for me in this game was the cheeky back heel from Titch surrounded by 3 defenders that set up danny Andrews 2nd goal. I also thought Mark Buchan's effort was not offside and was a great finish!!
Onward and Upward the home game against Prescot will be far from easy now that Peter Reids brother Sean has taken over.Lets face it they weren't that bad the other week even though we beat them 3 1!!
There are no easy games in this league anyway and if the lads can maintain the hard work ethic then I'm sure we'll be up there come end of season!!
Also good to hear from Neil wilson and Reg Hardingham that Mark Harris is out of hospital and slowly on the mend. See you soon Mark for the run in.
